About
Kenna International Corporation was formed in 2013 by former Toyota Tsusho Australasia senior management members. The business was set up to provide a higher level of import service for steel customers in Australia & New Zealand. The business evolved into trading of food, chemicals, FMCG and full Design-Build services for Water Treatment & Waste-To-Energy facilities. Kenna Myanmar was established in 2018 (closing 2021).
The business was scaled back over the Covid period with MD, Peter Williams and Finance Manager, Anthony Mavrias moving to other businesses. Rep offices were established in Cambodia and Mexico in 2021 under Kenna Australia.
GM and shareholder, Jon Carter took control of Kenna International in 2023. The company returned to it's core business of metal trading, but moved into 3rd country trading.
In 2025 Kenna expanded into the promotion of Hardware & Building Products, and started laying the foundations for Second Brain, an AI solutions/IT services business driven by tech guru Nick Myint.
